Thursday's lunch & learn on the topic of Active Threat Survival, presented by P3 Training Group. Here is a description of the education session:

There is no disputing the fact that active shooter incidents are on the rise. Unfortunately, bad things happen to good people. Active threats can come in many forms including verbal, physical, or someone with a weapon. Once of your best defenses and keys to safety is recognizing the potential threat, calming tense situations, and knowing how to protect yourself should the threat be someone with a weapon. Understanding and knowing how to apply situational awareness, verbal de-escalation, and run-hide-fight survival skills can literally mean the difference between life and death.
