New ButtonThe NCMGMA Annual Conference, scheduled for May 17-19 at the Charleston Marriott, will provide a rich environment where North Carolina's medical practice leaders can come together for professional development, networking and fun. We are excited for our return to Charleston!

Savor the Flavors of Charleston
6:30pm – 9:00pm
In Charleston’s delicious, award-winning food, you taste more than a chef’s skill and passion, you taste the vibrant flavors from farmers’ fields, the bounty from our waters, and more than 300 years of rich history, cultural and culinary traditions. That’s our goal with every walking food tour, whether you’re a curious home cook or a die-hard foodie.
Tour includes three restaurants with tastings at each location.
Pricing - $125 per person (without alcohol) & $175 per person (with alcohol).

 

Ghost and Graveyard
7:00pm – 8:30pm
Charleston’s rich history, fascinating places, people, and landmarks bring with them incredible stories — and ghosts! In a city that’s endured everything from war, slavery, earthquakes, and hurricanes to financial prosperity and artistic achievement, ghosts, haunted places, and legends are everywhere. We’ll help you explore the most famous, most infamous, and the most exclusive!
Pricing - $40 per person.

 

Toast of the Town
6:30pm – 8:30pm
Charleston’s flare for hospitality and entertaining is known worldwide. Walk a few blocks with our licensed guide to visit the quaint bars of three of Charleston’s most popular, upscale boutique inns, and learn about how this Colonial port city became known as one of the best places to raise a toast.
Tour includes visits to three, upscale boutique hotels and a craft cocktail at each location.
Pricing - $95 per person

NCMGMA Membership Types

  • Active Membership - An Active Member is currently employed in an executive, managerial or administrative capacity of a medical group engaged in the practice of medicine as a legal entity sharing business management facilities, records and personnel and/or services in an executive, managerial or administrative capacity of an integrated delivery organization that includes, as part of its primary mission, the provision of physician services and administration of physician practices type.
  • Affiliate Membership - An Affiliate Member is employed by an organization that provides products and/or services which enhance each Association member's ability to meet the health needs of their community, including, but not limited to business consultants, providers of products and services.
  • Student Membership - Student Membership is available to any person who is a full-time or part-time student according to the guidelines of their college or university. Student Members shall not have the right to vote and shall not have the right to serve as officers or directors of the Association.

What to Wear

Business casual is the appropriate attire for the Annual Conference and related events.

Each year, NCMGMA and Curi recognize a
healthcare administrator, affiliated with the NCMGMA, who has exhibited exceptional leadership management proficiency and enhanced the effectiveness of healthcare delivery in his/her practice and community through recent, noteworthy achievements. All nominated candidates will be notified of their nomination. Award recipient will receive:

  • An attractive award piece,
  • $2,500 in reimbursable funds towards NCMGMA, MGMA and/or ACMPE educational resources,
  • Public recognition at the NCMGMA Annual Conference (May 17-19, 2023, in Charleston, SC),
  • Promotion through a press release to national trade and consumer media,
  • Recognition within the NCMGMA community and through the NCMGMA E-News Blog.

NCMGMA Community Service Project with NourishNC

Join us at 11:30 am on Thursday, May 18th. As participants walk out of the last General Session, we will be set up for everyone to help and make a snack bag for NourishNC and help feed children in New Hanover County.

Help us Assist Hungry Children!
Supporting NourishNC, a 5019 (c) 3 nonprofit whose mission is to Provide healthy food to hungry children, empowering them to succeed in the classroom and in their community, NCMGMA will be packing 200 Snack Packs onsite during the 2021 Annual Conference. These Snack Packs are ready-to-go snack options that contain a juice box and three snacks for kids who need a little extra fuel for their after-school activities.

Cancellation Policy

Registration cancellations must be received in writing. Cancellations received on or before Monday, May 8, 2023, (seven business days prior to the conference) are entitled to a full refund less a $50 processing fee. No refunds will be awarded for cancellations after May 8th or for no-shows.
