There are so many functions and formulas available that learning them all sometimes seems like an impossible task. In this session, Dr. Jones will bring clarity around Microsoft Excel functions and highlight 10 functions every Excel user should know and master. Participants will leave with a succinct list of functions that will increase time and productivity.

Understanding Physician Profitability and Driving Better Results
Jason Deshays, Elliot Davis
Having a strong understanding of your practice's financial model is critical to driving practice profitability and physician compensation that is aligned with outcomes. Taking Control of your Practice's Online Reputation
Cam Cox, III, MHA, FACMPE, MSOC Health
Guiding PrinciplesThe source of all knowledge seems to be the internet. When in doubt, Google it! It's the first place people go for information on medical conditions, treatment options and details about your medical practice. But it doesn’t stop there. Prospective patients also turn to the internet to find out how your current patients rate your practice and individual physicians. Everything is fair game for discussion – your doctors’ bedside manner, the friendliness of your staff, the cleanliness of your waiting room, etc. Whether you know it or not, you have an online reputation. This presentation will focus on key steps for managing your online presence.

Operations Management - "Could I Have Seen It Coming?"
Jack Grandey, TriVectors
Guiding PrinciplesCould I have seen it coming? Fighting fires is at the core of a Practice Manager’s job description, but how many “fires” could have been averted or their impact minimized if you were more adept at seeing problems and taking appropriate action before they develop? How much more productive and effective could you be in managing and growing your practice if you spent less time being RE-active, by being more PRO-active? In this interactive session, participants will learn the three sentinel categories of practice challenges, how to recognize the early warning signs of impending trouble by category, and how to use Anticipation, Identification, and Mitigation as a methodology to avert or minimize challenges Together, we will apply principals from the military, emergency preparedness, and aviation safety sectors to hone your forward-looking skills and help you stay ahead of “to be expected” challenges

Operations Management - Physician Recruitment
Becky Ayers, DHA, MHA, MBA, FACMPE, Orthopedic Center of Florida
Guiding PrinciplesThe shortage of physicians from primary care to most specialty disciplines continues to grow as the typical American now lives longer with more complex end of life diagnosis. The pressure is on for healthcare leaders to expand recruitment and retention for optimal patient-centered care with measured results for maximum return on investment. The challenge for healthcare professionals is to find the right physician with skill sets to integrate within their current healthcare organizations in the face of ongoing reimbursement structure, political change, and challenges. Identify the who, what, when, where, why, and how of recruiting and onboarding new physicians.
