Position Title: Practice Administrator Practice: Central Carolina Dermatology Clinic Location: High Point, NC
Position Description:

Central Carolina Dermatology Clinic is a thriving 70-year-old private Dermatology, Dermatopathology, and Mohs practice with 6 board certified physicians and 1 physician assistant, dedicated to providing top-notch care to our patients in the Triad area. Our main office is in High Point, NC. Additionally, we have two satellite offices, one located in Kernersville and the other in Lexington. We’re in need of a talented Practice Administrator to join our team and help us deliver exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring efficiency and excellence in patient care.
- Analyze staffing in operational and clinical areas. Determine and maintain appropriate staffing levels. Assist providers with maintaining proper clinical staffing levels.
- Coordinate payroll issues and edit attendance records for all assigned staff. Track available time off for providers and assigned staff.
- Ensure proper maintenance and upkeep for physical buildings.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize practice operations and ensure compliances with regulations.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and staff to streamline workflows and enhance patient experience.
- Oversee billing, coding, and revenue cycle management processes to maximize financial performance.
- Responsible for the financial operations including accounts payable, budgeting, contracts, etc.
- Handle patient inquiries, complaints and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Collaborate with vendors, suppliers and other external partners to support practice operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in healthcare administration, preferably in a dermatology or medical practice setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Solid understanding of financial principles is necessary.
- Proficiency in practice management software, QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and billing practices.
- Detail-oriented and organized with a focus on delivering high-quality service.
